When to Choose Interventional Pain Management
Did you know that lower back pain is the most common reason for a visit to the doctor, other than the common cold? At Three Rivers Spine & Pain Medicine in Weirton, West Virginia, we specialize in interventional pain management to help eliminate or lessen your pain, whether it’s back pain, neck pain, or pain elsewhere in your body.
Interventional pain management can be the right next step for patients who have seen their primary care physician for pain issues and require more specialized treatment.
Perhaps you have already tried physical therapy, but it hasn't worked to resolve your pain problems. Or maybe you would like to try a less invasive treatment than surgery, or you are not a good candidate for an invasive surgical procedure. Interventional pain management involves using minimally invasive procedures, such as spinal injections, to treat severe pain that has not responded well to other treatments.
Weirton pain doctor Stephanie Le, MD and her staff are highly skilled at using interventional pain procedures to treat acute, chronic, and cancer-related pain of all types. We help manage pain from conditions as varied as carpal tunnel syndrome to migraines to sciatica.
Dr. Le uses the latest and most trusted techniques that enable you to return to or continue your daily activities, free from pain. She also works closely with local spine surgeons and neurosurgeons to ensure you receive the comprehensive care you need.
The benefits of interventional pain management include:
- Letting you complete activities at home and work without pain
- Allowing you to sleep better
- Improving your quality of life
- Teaching you new ways to deal with your pain
